    Default has got to have to be

    I was watching the 2008-2009 slam-dunk competition and the announcer said "It's got to have to be a perfect timing." I guess "to have" would be redundant here. What would he want to say by throwing in extra "to have"?

    That doesn't make any sense. I imagine that commentators frequently speak without thinking because things happen so fast in sporting competitions. They may start one sentence and then change their mind.

    It's got to have perfect timing.
    It's got to be perfectly timed.
    It has to be perfectly timed.
