Default can i say "listen to sb. deliver a speech"?

Excuse me, are the following two phrases acceptable:
listen to sb. deliver a speech
listen to sb. delivering a speech

They're both correct. The gerund often implies hearing part of the speech and the infinitive hearing all of it.
