Default lower and lesser

good day!

i'd like to ask if saying " It cost lower than 50 pesos." is grammatically correct instead of saying " It cost lesser than 50 pesos."

No, we wouldn't use it. You could say that 'the price of xxx is lower', but with 'cost', use 'less'.
