Default AS, when, and while : the difference

Hi everyone there,
What is the difference between "as, when, and while." Please provide some examples.

As- is similar to when, but more exact- It happened as I arrived = at the moment when I arrived.
While- is used to show the duration of something, often with progressive forms, so it is the longest in terms of time.
