badly repaired
1-The car was badly repaired.
2-The car was repaired badly.
Which of the above correspond to which of the below:
a-The car had been badly repaired. It was in a "badly repaired" state.
b-The car got repaired badly.
I think "1" could mean either "a" or "b", depending on the context.
It seems to me that "2" could only mean "b".
Gratefully,
Navi.

b is not a good sentence. "The car had been repaired badly" is much better.

Re: badly repaired
Thank you very much Bhaisahab,
I agree that "b" is not really good. I used "got" just to emphasis the dynamic nature of the verb. The car was not in "a repaired state", it became repaired. I wanted to see if:
2-The car was repaired badly.
could mean:
The car had been repaired badly. It was in a "badly repaired state". Or whether it only mean "Someone repaired it badly".
I think it could only have the dynamic meaning, and not the "stative" one. The first sentence on the other hand, seems ambiguous to me. It could either have the dynamic meaning ("became repaired badly") or the stateve meaning (was in "a badly repaired state")
Gratefully,
Navi.
