It looks like a typo.
Hi,
My friend told me that he saw T-Shirts (cheap ones) with this phrase on them; "God lones you", yes it's "lones" not "loves". I told him it must be a typo done by the manufacturer because the phrase has no meaning. Also, "lone" is an adjective not a verb and it can't take "s". However, some other friends interfered with the conversation and tried to give it a meaning.
My questions to the experts is: Does this phrase mean any thing by any chance? It doesn't make any sense to me.
Thanks
It looks like a typo.
Which should make them VERY cheap!
I'm not a teacher, but I write for a living. Please don't ask me about 2nd conditionals, but I'm a safe bet for what reads well in (American) English.
