Hello, everyone. I am planning to teach English to children and adults at home in Japan.
So, I expect the number of students will not be so many.
Now I am thinking about naming the place to offer English lessons.
In Japan, we usually use the word "Kyoshistu" which means a place to learn something, but the size is much smaller than school.
How would you call this kind of place?
I am looking forward to hearning from you.![]()

We use the word 'home'- you haveteachers who go to the students' homes and if they come to you, we still use that word.![]()
Dear tdol,
Thank you very much for your kind reply.
I have been searching for an appropriate word, so I do appreciate it.

Study in the comfort of your teacher's home...![]()
why not "clinic"? it's not ordinary. But doesn't it sound nice and healthy?
"Lynn's English clinic"
Sounds a bit clinical to me.![]()
