The winner came out first, the loser came out last.
What does it exactly mean?
They came out last in the match.
1) They lost the game.
2) They just left the game.
3) Something else?
The winner came out first, the loser came out last.
I don't think I've ever read such a thing before. Someone might come in first or last or fifth in a competition among numerous people (like a marathon).
