Asking about a friend!

I hope that I am posting this question in the right place
My question is about how can I recontact a friend who I didn't hear from her for a long time. I mean I want to tell her that I want to know if she is ok or not because I am really afraid that something bad happened to her. At the same time I don't want her feels like I recontact her because I need her to do something for work << she always thinks in this way. I know a lot of such words in my native language but I wonder if there are the same in English.

I had a private message from another user asking why I wrote "It's Bint3z here!" (ie what does "Bint3z" mean?) In case anyone else was confused, it was simply the username of the person who posted the question. Of course, when they write the email/text, they would replace Bint3z with their real name!
