It's quite long though I can't think of a way to shorten it. The only thing I would change would be to use "Recordings" instead of "Tapes". "Tapes" is rather old-fashioned. I doubt many people use audio or video cassettes any more.

Although I don't know what the results of you research are, how about "influence" instead of "impact"? I know that "impact" is more marketable, but "influence" might be more appropriate.

There might be no improvement. I think what you're researching is the influence of listening on grammatical accuracy in writing. You might find that it improves it, or not.
Your sentence reads something like: "The impact of listening on the impact on writing."
