- For Teachers
I know it's ok to say
a lesser amount of money
Is it also ok and is it stricktly in agreement with the grammar rules to use less instead?
a lesser amount of money = a less amount of money (or is it ok only in casual speech?)
Remember - correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing make posts much easier to read.
a lesser amount of money - OK
a less amount of money - WRONG
a smaller/lower amount of money - OK
