    Hi,

    Can someone help to check is this sentence correct? Can gift be used as a verb?
    "I going to buy iPhone cases and gift them to my friends."

    Yes, that usage is fine. You can also use 'give'.
    I'm not a teacher yet, but I am studying a Bachelor of Education with an English Literature major at Charles Sturt University, in NSW, Australia.

    In BrE "gift" is not a verb.
