When if clause comes at the beginning of the sentence, it (if clause) must be terminated with a comma/a comma must take place. Why is comma rule in the if clause being violated in the above text?

There should be a comma after "wish".

I'd use got/would.

Interesting. I'd use gets/will. I suppose it depends on the likelihood of the suggested outcome.

I thought about offering the two, but the article seemed to suggest that he wasn't going to get his way to me. However, it's one or the other.
