believed strongly in
"believe in" has three meanings : 1. to feel sure that something exists. 2.to feel something is right or valuable. 3. to feel sure that somebody is competent.
I think this belongs to 1, but not sure of 2. What do you think?
ex)The tech elite who first developed the Internet believed strongly in the freedom of cyberspace, in both aspects of "free" - free as in beer, and free as in freedom...
