| Woman: We have an emergency situation, and my company wants me in Tront by noon tomorrow. Man: Well, we have a flight leaving in an hour. It'll get you there at nine tonight. Woman: Goodness , no. I'm not even packed. Do you have a flight that'll get me there around 8 a.m.? |

Welcome to our forum. I can tell you from an American perspective that the passive voice is very commonly used in conversation! "I haven't even packed, yet!" would be the way we would be encouraged to write the sentence. However, "I'm not even packed," would be said just as often, if not more than the active voice. Hope this helps! Sweet Momma Sue |
