Default I'm not even packed.

I read the following sentence, but I cannot understand the grammatical uses of '' I'm not even packed.''. Could anyone tell me why this sentence is the ''passive '' instead of '' I have not even packed yet.'' Is this the frequent phrase?

Woman: We have an emergency situation, and my company wants me in
Tront by noon tomorrow.
Man: Well, we have a flight leaving in an hour. It'll get you there at nine
tonight.
Woman: Goodness , no. I'm not even packed. Do you have a flight
that'll get me there around 8 a.m.?

Hello Yoshitakehori!
Welcome to our forum.

I can tell you from an American perspective that the passive voice is very commonly used in conversation! "I haven't even packed, yet!" would be the way we would be encouraged to write the sentence. However, "I'm not even packed," would be said just as often, if not more than the active voice.

Hope this helps!
