I read the following sentence, but I cannot understand the grammatical uses of '' I'm not even packed.''. Could anyone tell me why this sentence is the ''passive '' instead of '' I have not even packed yet.'' Is this the frequent phrase?
Woman: We have an emergency situation, and my company wants me in
Tront by noon tomorrow.
Man: Well, we have a flight leaving in an hour. It'll get you there at nine
tonight.
Woman: Goodness , no.
I'm not even packed. Do you have a flight
that'll get me there around 8 a.m.?
