    Default Doesn't Or Don't

    Hi ,

Please correct following the grammar mistake, if any.

Sentence - This is checked for the distinct IDs viz., ID1,ID2 and ID3. These IDs doesn't have access to the site.

Please correct, the sentence "These IDs doesn't have access to the site", if anything wrong there.Should it be like "These IDs don't have access to the site" or "These IDs doesn't has access to the site ".

    Please guide.

    Thanks.

    Welcome to Using English.
"These IDs" are plural, and therefore they need the plural form of the verb, which is "don't."
The other rule is that when you have a form of "to do" ("don't"), you leave the main verb in main form: to have is "have."

    These IDs don't have access...

I'm not a teacher, but I write for a living. Please don't ask me about 2nd conditionals, but I'm a safe bet for what reads well in (American) English.

    Hi,

Thank you for the quick response.

What if I would rephrased the sentence as

"The IDs doesn't have access the site" is this the correct sentence?

Here "IDs" is used to represent the collective noun.

    Please guide.

No, 'don't' should still be used.
