Did you buy any furniture?
This "any" is interpreted as "a little in quantity", so can "any" have the meaning of "a little" like "some"?

Re: Did you buy any furniture?
keannu, you frequently begin your posts with 'A is interpreted/translated as B', with B presumably representing your English version of a Korean translation from an original English text.It might be a better idea to forget English versions of Korean translations of English words and phrases and just think about the English words in their English context. In your sentence, 'any' means what it means in thousands of other English sentences.
Context is important. Please provide enough for us to be able to deal effectively with your question.
Your thread title should include all or part of the word/phrase being discussed.
If you just want to know the meaning of a word, try OneLook Dictionary Search first.
