Which one is correct? 1 or 2? "that is" vs without "that is"
Both are correct but 1) is clearer and easier to be understood?1) Apical ballooning syndrome (ABS) is a unique reversible cardiomyopathy frequently precipitated by a stressful event and has a clinical presentation that is indistinguishable from a myocardial infarction. 2) Apical ballooning syndrome (ABS) is a unique reversible cardiomyopathy frequently precipitated by a stressful event and has a clinical presentation that is indistinguishable from a myocardial infarction.

Your sentences appear to be identical, but omitting 'that is' would make no difference to the meaning.
