The "joke" is that talking on the cell phone while driving is dangerous, so is any form of distracted driving. Trying to eat while driving is just as bad, since you need to make sure your food doesn't spill and you're probably holding your food in one hand, so it's not available for the steering wheel if it's needed in an emergency.
