If I were you, I would not Do that .
and
If I had been You , I would not have done that.

please tell me what is the difference between these to sentence i don't understand the difference . does in the first sentence is informal as i recon please help me.......

The speaker of the first sentence is suggesting to someone that they do not do something - at the moment or in the future.

The speaker of the second is speaking about a past situation. The person addressed did do something. The speaker thinks that that was not a good idea.

"If I had been you, I would not have done that."

Please see my amendments to your post (above, in red) and follow the rules of written English with regard to capitalisation and punctuation.

- Start every new sentence with a capital letter.
- Always capitalise the word "I" (first person singular).
- Do not put a space before a comma or a full stop.
- Put a space after a comma and a full stop.
