Default Identifying basic sentence parts

Hello

Can you please help me in identifying sentence parts and correcting these sentenses(if there is any error)?

Richard Shaw was born in 1941.
Richard Shaw Noun
was Auxiliary verb

His father worked as a cartoonist for Walt Disney and his mother was an artist, too.
His father worked as a crtoonist Independent Clause
and his mother was an artist, too. dependent clause

All their friends were artists, cartoonists, and writers.
artists Noun
cartoonists Noun
and Conjunction
writers Noun

Shaw remembers spending much time as a child drawing train wrecks, battles and maritime disasters.
remembers Verb
spending Verb
much Determiner
as preposition
a child noun

Besides his interest in painting, Shaw also became interested in film-making and ceramic sculpture.
Besides preposition
also determiner
became verb
interested adjective
of course preposition

You may want to try working out these again:

His father worked as a cartoonist for Walt Disney and his mother was an artist, too.

Shaw remembers spending much time as a child drawing train wrecks, battles and maritime disasters.
