Hello,
"He never said the word Dragon to himself. Nor would it have made things any better if he had."
"The smoke from its nostils was like thesmoke of a fire that will not last much longer. Nor did it seem to have noticed Eustace."
I sometimes come across such usage of NOR and follower words in a book I read now. The auther uses nomal nor as well, so it seems it's intentionally being used to me.
What is difference from usual order?
Thanks in advance.

When certain words come at the beginning of a sentence, the verb and subject invert. 'Nor' inverts at the beginning of a sentence and at the beginning of a clause.
I see. "Neither", "So" are also same kind of words, aren't they? I haven't noticed at all till now.
Thank you for explanation.
