| The ambulance arrived within minutes of the call being made. Do they mean : within an hour after, within minutes after? Thanks very much! |

| Yes, "within an hour of" means it happened less than an hour after the original event. Also, "within minutes of" means it happened only a few minutes after the previous event. :) |
