Some dream!

If I am skeptical about somebody's dreams, for example, can I say "Some dream!".

Like here:
- I dreamed about travelling, climbing mountains, swimming in the lakes, meeting people…
- Meeting people? Some dream!

I just heard something like that in one movie and tried to use this in my sentence, but does it sound natural here? Or may be I should use something else? If it is old-fashioned, but natural, it's ok - I need something old-fashioned.

"Some dream!" doesn't sound sceptical. It sounds as if you are either very impressed with the content of their dream ie "Wow, that was some dream!" or rather disappointed "Hah! Call that a dream? That's rubbish".

It's not old-fashioned either.

I don't know what you mean by being sceptical about someone's dream. Do you mean that you don't believe that they actually had the dream they have described to you?

Yes, I actually meant "Hah! Call that a dream? That's rubbish". By sceptical I meant being not ready to believe that this dream is worth something.

It would have to be clear that the person who had the dream really believes that the dream meant something or is worth something, in order for there to be any point in your being sceptical. It still means that you're sceptical about the dream's worth, rather than about the dream itself.
