touch
I think that touching people from different backgrounds is good for you.
I think that touching the outside world is good for you.
The two "touch"'s in the above sentences are incorrectedly used, aren't they?
What verb should I write instead to express the meaning of "get to know Or experience"?
Thanks for your help!

'Touching' usually relates to physical contact. In the above sentences I'd use 'contacting' or 'interacting with'
(not a teacher)

Re: touch
Your own two suggestions are fine.
I think that getting to know people from different backgrounds is good for you.
I think that experiencing the outside world is good for you.
not a teacher
