Is this sentence correct

If the knowledge of all covered topics was not tested, it would be great for all of us, if we knew the exact chapters that would be tested tomorrow.

It doesn't work for me. I would use something like:

If not everything is tested, it would be great for all of us if we knew exactly what will be tested tomorrow.

Or even: If the test will not cover every topic, it would be helpful to know exactly what it will cover.
