If someone doesn't return the love, it is unrequited. If someone is invloved with someone esle, they are spoken for. If the person is spoken for and the love is unrequited, it's a real bummer.

I would say that the girl has a problem; she has a steady boyfriend but doesn´t like him - then maybe she ought to give the boy who loves her a go..."and does not like the guy"...it is unclear who is being refered to with this phrase.

I should have written this way.

A boy 'X' loves a girl. The girl has a steady boyfriend named 'Y', loves 'Y' and does not like 'X'.
How do you describe the situation, from X's, the girl's and Y's perspective?
