Is there a slight difference in meaning between "1" and "2"?
1. He came to look for me.

He came to look for me = He left one place and traveled to another place with the intention of searching for me when he arrived at the new location.
He came looking for me = He left one place and while traveling to another place, and when he arrived at the other place, was searching for me.
