In France, and I think in most European countries, we don't "diagram" sentences. But for someone like me who learned a Romanese language, this is how I understand it :
[My aunt and uncle] S
[[[have been] traveling] in] Vb
[Mexico] Cplt
So to me, as a non-native speaker, the main problem is the preposition "in" : I think it goes with the verb phrase ("to","through" wouldn't imply a change in location, you could use the same map, only the gesture you would make if you were mute would be different)
As for the rest, it can probably be divided into other segments with other comments, I'm pretty sure that Japanese or Russian people would see it differently, wouldn't they ?
