Why are these sentences not correct?
I was reading a newspaper article the other day and I came across these 4 sentences - claimed to be 'Chinglish-style'.
1) Our shops should be on sale.
Should it be - the items not the shops?
2) our price is cheap.
I learnt that price collocates with low/high but I remember a native speaker of English said price can also collocate with expensive / cheap?
3) The problem was improved.
I think this is okay.
4) Because of this reason, I would like to propose a chance in our pricing scheme.
Acgain, I think this is okay at time. For conciseness, perhaps 'for this reason'.
What do you all think?
