respectable or believable
Puncutality is valued highly in American life, for example. If not punctual, they may be regarded as impolite or not fully _________.
A. respectable B. believable
The answer is B. But I think answer A is also reasonable.
Am I right?

Re: respectable or believable
This is another unnatural question.
Neither alternative is appropriate. 'Believable' is certainly wrong.
I could have accepted respectful.

Re: respectable or believable
I got your point, if a man is not punctual, we say he is not respectful to others.
But couldn't we say " a man is not worth respecting(respectable by others) since he is not always punctual"?
If yes, respectable is also right.

It's not a good question. My doctor is always late for my appointment, but that doesn't make him not fully respectable or unbelievable. Why try to justify a question which is just plain wrong?
