    Default about time to

    Hello,

Is it OK to say 'it's about time to go'' because I know that we can use ''it's about time we went''?

    Thanks.

Thanks for the answer. Last question about it.

-It was high time to escape.

    Is that OK?

    Thanks.

It's OK but I would normally expect to see "It's high time ..." followed by a person and a verb, rather than "to + verb".

It's high time he stopped doing that.
It's high time the government started taking notice of the people's opinions.
It's high time that child learnt to read.
