As far as the use of the verb "to go" is concerned, the first one is correct. The meaning, however, is not clear.

    Let me give another example.

“ I had mango before I went on holiday last year”
“ I had mango before I go on holiday last year”

    Which sentence above is correct?

As before, the first one is correct (or it would be if you ended the sentence with a full stop).

    Which sentence above is correct?
As the sentence is clearly in the past (I had / last year), how do you think "before I go" is possible?
Remember - correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing make posts much easier to read.
