    Default Usage of 'given'

    1) The fact that people find change difficult is taken as given.

    2) The fact that people find change difficult is taken as a given.

One is used as an adjective and the other is used as an noun and do you feel any difference in meaning between them?

    3) It is a given that
    people find change difficult.

    4) It is given that
    people find change difficult.

These are also similar examples, so there is a meaning difference between them? Thank you so much as always and happy new year.

Not much- the noun form is a more recent form IMO, but they co-exist.

And have a Happy New Year.
