Teacher, is this sentence OK?
I would like to take January 29th as a personal day to attend to some personal matters.
It's a little bit redundant. You can simply say that you would like to take a personal day on Jan 29.
Thank you, teacher. If I want to take half a day, can I say:
I would like to take a half personal day on Jan 29.
"Half a personal day"
