Are the following questions (B:) natural if we ask someone to repeat something we don't hear it or understand it?
A: Do you like bungee jumping?
B: Do I like what?
A: Have you been to Norwich?
B: Have I been to where?
A: Have you tried bungee jumping?
B: Have I tried what?
Thanks.
They only work, of course, if the only part of the sentence you didn't hear or understand was the end.
If you misheard a different part of a sentence, you would ask a different question (or simply say "Pardon?")
Have you ever spotted Bill Clinton?
Have I ever whatted Bill Clinton?
Note that "to what" is obviously not a verb but in BrE you might hear it used only in that context.
Remember - correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing make posts much easier to read.
