 Past tense or present? which 1 correct and why? i thought you go to washroom. or i thought you went to washroom. another problem is: he said he went to washroom or he said he go to toilet |

| Re: Past tense or present? In both cases both the thinking and the action are in the past, so the past makes more sense.  |
