Which or that
I read in a book that in the sentence: That is the kind of man that I dislike, we can't replace that with which. Could you please explain why? What is the antecedent, is it kind or man?

The antecedent is 'kind'.
You can use 'that', 'which', or neither.
'That is the kind of man I dislike.'
