coordinating conjunctions
Hi,
Please, are the following uses of coordinating conjunctions correct?
The national speed limit was repealed.
Road accidents have increased sharply.
1.The national speed limit was repealed, so road accidents have increased sharply.
2.Road accidents have increased sharply, for the national speed limit was repealed.
Thanks.
