    Do we have "Trust someone to someone

    For example,
    He trusted the found child to the police.

    Do we have "Trust someone to someone
    For example,
    He trusted the found child to the police.

    "He entrusted the found child to the police" = He put the child into the care of the police.
    or
    "He trusted the police with the found child" = He was confident the police would look after the child well.
