I'm not a teacher, but I write for a living. Please don't ask me about 2nd conditionals, but I'm a safe bet for what reads well in (American) English.
thank you for your post ,
apparently the choices are very tricky but i just wanna to make sure of my answers
1. in case of
2.although
3.inspite of
s are my answers right or wrong ?!
Welcome to the forum.
1. "In case of" is incorrect.
2. "Although" is incorrect.
3. "In spite of" is the only answer of the three that is close to acceptable, but "despite" would be better.
Are you sure you copied sentence 2 exactly. If so, the whole sentence is incorrect.
Please remember the rules of written English:
- Start every sentence with a capital letter.
- Always capitalise the word "I".
- End every sentence with a single punctuation mark. \
- Do not use "wanna" - it's "want to".
- Do not put a space before a full stop, comma, question mark or exclamation mark.
- Always put a space after a full stop, comma, question mark or exclamation mark.
Remember - correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing make posts much easier to read.
Thanks for your response , so
Would you please tell me the right answer for the first two choices
I guess the first one is (as for ) and the second is (however).
thank you again for guiding me to the right method of writing :)
