Default ' I started to walk across the room'

    Hello,

I think this sentence has various meanings.

the first one is he is walking in the room, maybe center of the room?

the second guess is he is walking along the hallway in an apartment and passing 'the room'.

I know that sentence needs some contexts. but what can you imagine from it?

    Thanks in advance. :)

It means that he started to walk from one side of the room to the other. That's all.
