What roles do words 'because, after, and before, or any other ones' play in past perfect tenses? If any.

You should know by now, celtaflorida, that there is no e in 'grammar' and that thread titles should include words you are asking about. 'Because, after and before' would have been good for this.

The words mentioned play exactly the same role in the past perfect tense as they do in any other tense.
