Hello,
Have is what I currently have, right?
I have a dog.
I have a cat.
I have a car.
Had is what I have in the past, but no longer have right?
I had baby teeth.
I had baby clothes.
I had gone through pre-school.
I am not sure about have had. It looks like current past. I wonder if you could explain it to me and give me as much examples as possible, so I don't just only use have and had.
Have had- this is the bridge between the past and the present:
I've had this car for two years = I bought it two years ago and still own it today.
But What is the meaing of had here

Thanks. I got it.
