I came across a few sentences in web using '' It was too much rain''.
But I cannot understand it grammertically.

Is this gramatically right? If so, could anyone explain to me
grammertically?

If the sentence were '' it rained too much '' or '' it had too much rain'' ,
I can understand.

It would probably be better to say 'there was too too much rain'.
