"Accidentally" doesn't mean the same as "without planning" in this way.

"To bump into" means "to unexpectedly meet". You don't need to say anything else. You can just say "I bumped into my father at the supermarket today" and people will know what you mean.

I entirely agree with you that I might not have to use the word accidentally but the question we ask is not whether the word is necessary or not, but whether its usage this way is correct.Searching the internet for this word, I found that it is used with words like accidentally or by accident. Could you give me further explanation for that?And thanks for your time and consideration anyway.
