It's a good wine to keep.
It's me one more time!
What's the meaning of "It's a good wine to keep"?
Does it mean "It's good to keep wine" or "Wine is good to keep".
Thank you.
The example was taken from Third Edition NEW; Michael Swan; Fully Revised; Practical English Usage.

Some wine is good to keep, it improves with age. "It's a good wine to keep" means that the wine the speaker is referring to is such a wine.

By such a wine, do you mean that the wine improves with age. The longer it stands in barrels in the cellar, the better it tastes.

Re: It's a good wine to keep.
We don't buy wine by the barrel. If we know a wine is going to improve we buy a few bottles and keep them for a year or more to mature.
Other wines are best drunk 'young'. They are already at their best when we buy them and may actually deteriorate if we keep them.
