Does this "sensible" refer to "discernible, wise, having good jugement" or just "conscious of something"?
st34)Considering the multitude of data that people in our contemporary society need to remember, a certain amount of notetaking and information deposited in books is unavoidable. But the tendency away from remembering is growing beyond all sensible proportions. Growing beyond proportions that would normally be considered wise, prudent or advisable.
