    Default Vocabulary 'take into account'

    Hi English Teachers,
    Are my sentences acceptable? Thanks a lot in advance.
    I asked my father to lend me money for an education. However, after taking into account for years, he has not lent me.

    No, the second one doesn't make a great deal of sense.

    I asked my father to lend me money for an education. However, after taking into account for years, after considering the fact that it was going to take four years he has did not lend me any.

    Does it sound better?
