can anybody explain to me what difficulties people face when learning english in terms of grammar and listening ?

There are many different problems that a earner can face. For instance, some languages have no tenses so the whole concept will be extremely complex for learners with such a background. Other languages have no articles, etc. With listening, learners often find reduced forms and stringing words together difficult. These are both huge areas, so it's impossible to cover them comprehensively.
